From natural birth to cesarean section.
The madness started in the early hours of the morning, at 7:30, on September 27, 2019, exactly one day after Mommy's birthday. Daddy was getting ready to go to work, and Mommy found out she needed a toilet. Then he realized that he had lost the stopper (a darker gelatinous discharge) and called Dr. Dragan Ioana, telling her that everything was fine, let's calm down and wait. I was 38 weeks and 5 days old.
Dad went to work, Mommy took a bath, to be ready if the birth begins. Between 10:00 - 10:30 when she finished with the bathroom and the arrangement she realized that the contractions started, they were quite short in duration and with low intensity. She spoke again with Dr. Ioana, and introduced her to what had happened in the meantime.
Around 12:00 the contractions were 30 minutes away and lasted between 10 and 15 seconds, with a low intensity. She decided with the doctor to go to the hospital - Sanador (we live in Pitesti, the hospital was in Bucharest and as we knew the road from home to the hospital could take between 1 hour and a half and 3 hours). The trip lasted 2 hours. :)
At 15:00 we arrived at the hospital, my mother went to the guard room and we both went in for monitoring. The contractions were more frequent, the duration was 15 - 20 seconds and the intensity had increased slightly. Then followed a classic control and then we prepared for the second monitoring.
Funny story: mommy was on the second monitoring, with the devices on her belly moved. I was moving around a bit and without realizing it I moved one of the devices with my ass. Automatically he no longer read the contractions properly. After a while, the doctor on duty comes and tells her that there are no birth contractions, that they are not visible on the chart ... mommy says: "ok but I feel them, they are more frequent and have increased a little in intensity", then the doctor put his hand on his belly, after 5 minutes he decided to monitor us for an hour continuously, mommy was hospitalized and went to a salon. The contractions were more and more frequent, of longer duration and high intensity. It was 5:00 to 5:30 p.m.
Around 18:30, Dr. Ioana came to us and monitored the pregnancy, she was very shocked when she saw the graph and asked my mommy if she was okay, she said everything was fine. Then comes the doctor on duty and Dr. Ioana asks her why she did not tell her that there are contractions of expulsion (birth). In a maximum of 30 minutes, someone came to prepare us for my big appearance. From here, mommy no longer has the notion of time.
I arrived at the delivery room, my mother was joking with the doctor about the intensity of the contractions, saying that she was expecting something worse.
Everything was on the normal path until I got bored and wanted to get out faster. The doctor saw that my blood pressure had started to increase, because I wanted to go out but I still had nowhere to go, even if my mother had expulsion contractions, but the dilation was 2 to 3. At that moment both the doctor and the nurse called a anesthesiologist. It was too risky for me to wait for mom to expand properly.
After mommy talked to the doctor about all the pros and cons of natural birth, in this situation, the decision was made to go further with cesarean section. Mommy agreed to a caesarean section and the madness started, it was an organized madness, only ... everyone was running everywhere to prepare the room.
At 20:25 we entered the hall, the contractions were one after the other, the intensity had somehow remained at the same level. In 10 minutes, my mother was anesthetized and connected to all the devices "in the world".
The operation started, at 20:53 I came out and my mother heard my voice for the first time, then they checked me, measured me, analyzed that everything was fine and "packed" me. Then they took me to mommy and I saw her and touched her, what a strong and beautiful feeling. After that I met my dad, on the way to the "playground".
I weighed 2.78 kg and 48 cm.
Now Mommy will tell you about the experience of the caesarean section she felt on her skin.
... Mommy took over the story ...
After the anesthesia, I was conscious, but I could no longer feel my body under my breasts. He felt everything, but not the pain. I felt like someone was tickling you with a flake when they cut me, you felt like someone was walking around, but there was nothing wrong or awful. The weirdest part was the part when they took out the ''prichindel'', it felt like someone was taking something out of you that was vacuumed there. Don't think that the baby with the bag in which he lived for 9 months comes out of the first one, he was pulled by him about 2-3 times until he was taken out. Nothing is painful, the feeling is strange, because I didn't know what to expect. After gluing and sewing, you don't feel much. After 2 hours of intensive care or until you could prove that you could move your feet or toes as little as possible, I was taken to the salon.
... Patty ...
At 01:41 I met my mom again and we haven't parted since!
Important! Mommy wanted to have a natural birth. The only meal that day was at 10:30, it was a light yogurt. He drank a maximum of 4 glasses of water.
P.S: Daddy looked at everything from the operating door window! (@. @)
I hope it helps you!
XOXO
